Products: Perle d’Eau,Neige Éternelle,Éclat de Lait

Ingredient Description:

Disodium EDTA is a multitasking chelating agent[1] (a chemical compound that binds tightly to metal ions) that helps prevent oxidation of other preservative agents leading to longer shelf life (making it easier for other preservatives to do a better job). It’s helpful properties can prevent a number of changes, keeping your beauty potions as consistent and reliable as ever. This ingredient is essential in maintaining the pH balance and texture of beauty products, helping to retain their freshness and smoothness for longer.[2] Without Disodium EDTA, odors might start creeping in faster than they should,[3] so it’s a great ingredient to keep our products smelling fresh and fragrant!

According to the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Expert Panel, Disodium EDTA has been found safe to use in cosmetic applications.[4] At Bionassay, we only use GMO-Free inorganic Disodium EDTA certified according to the Quality Management System, ISO 9001/2015. Ensuring no contamination with 1,4-dioxane or diethylene glycol.
